The definition of the european race

This ethny (also called "race") is composed of proto-european peoples who migrated into the west of the Eurasia. They later were isolated from other races by natural barriers such as the Mediterranean Sea and the Siberian, which prevented large influxes of peoples for tens of thousands of years. Thus this isolation created a distinct genetic group inside Europe.

Modern definitions of the European race usually exclude the inhabitants of Turkish and Arabic lands even though those inhabitants still display a some genetic similarity to Europeans.
